Manatee Physician Alliance is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to handle front desk duties, registration, check-in, co-pays, scheduling, billing, and EMR scanning. The MOS should demonstrate medical terminology knowledge, organization, and professional communication while adapting to interruptions and maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires reliability, discretion, and the ability to follow through on assignments in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Experience with front-desk registration, co-pays, scheduling and billing is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work flexibly under interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Front desk coverage for the medical practice including registration and check-in.
• Collect co-pays, schedule appointments and manage billing tasks.
• Scan records into EMR and manage reports and correspondence.
