Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare scheduling or call center experience.
• Experience delivering training and presentations to groups.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel to create materials and reports.
• Collaborative work style with leadership and cross‑department partners.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and mentor schedulers.
• Lead training sessions for small and large groups.
• Develop training materials, job aids, and workflows.
• Act as SME for scheduling workflows, Epic, and insurance verification.
• Handle calls, registrations, and appointment scheduling.
• Process scheduling requests via queues, referrals, or fax.
• Assist with patient registration and insurance eligibility.
• Promote patient portal enrollment and appointment requirements.
• Support quality, productivity and customer service goals.
• Escalate complex scheduling issues and collaborate with leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings and special projects.
