Job summary

BayCare, a leading health system in the Tampa Bay area, seeks a Medical Office Representative for a busy physician practice. This in-person role supports front desk operations, revenue cycle tasks, scheduling, and patient check-in/check-out across multiple locations.

Requirements include 6 months of healthcare or customer service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and physician office experience is preferred. BayCare offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Physician office experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports front desk operations in a busy physician's office.
• Performs revenue cycle duties and handles check-in/check-out.
• Collects payments and schedules appointments.
• Schedules procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Enters orders and uses computer systems to manage schedules.
• Maintains patient records and provides admin support.

• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (May Vary)
• Shift Days: Monday thru Friday
• Location: Required to travel throughout Hillsborough and/or Pasco County
• On Call: No

Responsibilities:

• Supports front desk operations in a busy physician's office
• Performing all duties related to revenue cycle operations
• Check-in/check-out
• Collecting payments
• Scheduling appointments
• Scheduling procedures/surgeries
• Entering orders, and utilizing various computer programs to manage schedules
• Record patient information and various other administrative support duties
• Role requires utilizing multiple computer systems, multi-tasking, critical thinking skills to track, follow up, and ensure task completion
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Required 6 months of healthcare
• Or 6 months of Customer Service
• Required High School or Equivalent
• Highly preferred physician office experience
