Job summary

BayCare Health System in Palm Harbor is seeking a Medical Office Rep who delivers outstanding customer service to our community. This full-time, non-exempt role supports a physician practice at Palm Harbor West Medical Center, with a Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.

You will greet patients, collect information, schedule appointments, handle inquiries, assist with procedures, process payments, and help with billing questions while ensuring encounter forms are complete.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience or 6 months in customer service.
• Healthcare front desk experience highly preferred.

• Supports the physician's office health care team
• Greets and signs in patients
• Obtains patient information
• Schedules patient appointments
• Assists with patient inquiries
• May arrange for other procedures
• Laboratory and consultations with referral doctors
• Collects and posts payments
