Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI seeks a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist) to be the first point of contact for patients and families. You will obtain and verify required patient and insurance information and enter it into the registration system, and you will schedule patient appointments, including return visits, referrals, and tests.

Greet patients professionally in person and by phone. This full-time daytime role features a $2,025 sign-on bonus (terms apply), a 36-hour weekly

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Obtain/verify patient and insurance information and enter into the registration system accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments including return visits, referrals, diagnostic testing/procedures.
• Greet patients professionally in person and over the telephone and respond effectively to patients and their families.
