Job description

New York City's Largest Dermatology Practice

We're a full-service dermatology practice with 50+ locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. Now Delaware and Philly too!

Dermatology Practice looking for an Office Manager that meets the following criteria:

  1. 2 years’ + experience in Hospitality or Medical management as a minimum;
  2. Experience in managing a team;
  3. Ability to give direction with confidence;
  4. Hard-working and willing to be part of a team;
  5. Desire to grow with the practice;
  6. Flexible availability;
  7. Option for medical benefits as well as 401k.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures.
  2. Knowledge of health insurance policies, guidelines - including copays, coinsurances, referrals, verification of insurances; handling patients' records discretely, updating demographic and financial information; protecting and securing medical records.
  3. Knowledge and utilization of EMR, medical coding, and billing relevant to practice. Oversee billing and collections portion of office; work effectively with vendors; manage inventory and equipment.
  4. Excellent written and communication skills; strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be able to think creatively and multitask. Ability to work with a diverse population.
  5. Good time management skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
  6. May also have to schedule appointments, answer phones, and ensure office effectiveness and efficiency.
  7. Willing to float to other offices when fellow colleagues are out or to grow more in the company.

Job Type: Full-time

The pay range for this role is:

62,400 - 65,000 USD per year (BAYSIDE (BS))
