Qualifications

• Basic medical terminology; EMR and electronic scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and confirms patient appointments using the Practice Management System.
• Verifies insurance coverage and patient demographics; manages and updates charts.
• Answers telephone, relays messages, and provides information when necessary.
• Maintains files and assists in establishing office systems.
• Attends meetings and participates in daily huddles with the care team.
• Adheres to infection control standards and patient rights.
