Job summary

Preferred qualifications include completion of a medical assisting or medical office administration program and about one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare admin

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks in a medical office or outpatient setting to support front desk operations.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping and ensure patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Provide a welcoming environment for patients and visitors and support care continuity.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Medical Office Assistant Float supports patient care, safety, and access by performing administrative tasks in a medical office or outpatient setting. This role ensures efficient front office operations, accurate recordkeeping, and a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Work Experience:

• None required
• experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• None required at hire.

Preferred Qualifications
