Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join the ambulatory/clinic team. You will perform front desk duties, register patients in the EMR, collect payments, and assist patients with the patient portal, while upholding patient- and family-centered care values.

You will work closely with patients, families, management, staff, and clinicians to support smooth clinic operations and documentation accuracy.

• Ability to register patients, handle payments, and use EMR systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for front desk duties.

Responsabilités

• Registers new patients and updates demographics, collects accurate personal and financial details.
• Schedules appointments and makes confirmation calls for upcoming visits.
• Collects co-pays/insurance data to ensure proper payment and reduces delays.
• Greets patients and visitors, answers information requests in person or by phone.
• Demonstrates initiative for ongoing professional development and competency.
