Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant experience 1–3 years required.
• HEARTSAVER and CMA/NHA/NBCC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and perform clerical tasks for patient care.
• Collect patient data: height, weight, vitals, and history; assist with exams.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by physician/APP.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions; manage prescriptions.
