Job Description
As a Medical Office Assistant at Medicus Spine & Joint, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Patient Interaction
Greet and check in patients, verify insurance information, and collect co-pays. Schedule and confirm appointments, answer phone calls, and address patient inquiries.
Administrative Duties
Maintain and update patient records, manage electronic medical records (EMR), and handle data entry with accuracy and confidentiality.
Clinical Support
Prepare examination rooms, and support healthcare providers as needed.
Office Coordination
Manage office supplies, ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, and coordinate with other departments to facilitate patient care.
