Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an onsite Mail Center Specialist responsible for opening, reviewing, and sorting mail, indexing documents, and preparing outgoing mail for pickup. You will identify, prioritize, and route items to the correct patient accounts in Epic, using proper statuses while handling confidential information.

The role emphasizes adherence to privacy rules and efficient mail flow. Preference is given to candidates with Epic EMR and MS Office experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a large-volume mail center.
• 1 year of experience with Epic electronic medical record system recommended.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office suite recommended.

Responsibilities

• Open, review, and scan mail; sort, identify, prioritize, and index all incoming documents, and prepare outgoing mail for pickup.
• Scan documents to assign to the correct patient account in Epic using the correct statuses.
