Job summary

Chattyvets in Charlotte, NC seeks a Lead Veterinarian to step into clinical leadership while maintaining high-level medical care. You will mentor a team, lead clinical standards, and partner with the Practice Manager to enhance hospital performance.

This role emphasizes developing associates, building client relationships, and driving community engagement within a respected AAHA-accredited practice.

Qualifications

• DVM / VMD (or equivalent) and eligible to work in the US.
• NAVLE certification or equivalent.
• ECFVG or PAVE if graduated from non-AVMA accredited program.
• DEA, State, and USDA licenses (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the veterinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Deliver medical, surgical, and dental care at a leadership level.
• Support hospital performance alongside the Practice Manager.
• Coach and develop associate veterinarians and drive clinical standards.
