Care Animal Hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to serve as the medical leader of the practice, guiding a diverse team across multiple species. You will ensure high-quality medical care while supporting operational success and staff development.

We welcome veterinarians with strong leadership background or those aiming for leadership with mentoring offered. The hospital features a spacious facility and a collaborative environment that promotes growth.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college or successful completion of the ECFVG/PAVE programs.
• Active license to practice in the state or ability to obtain one.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team and hospital leadership.
• Assist Practice Manager with staffing and scheduling to meet goals.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the local community.
• Mentor and develop veterinary team through internal LevelUp program.
• Manage a varying caseload including surgeries and appointments.
• Oversee medical care of all patients and ensure quality standards.
• Serve as veterinarian of record for hospital permits and licenses.
• Partner with leadership to maintain medical quality.

Care Animal Hospital is looking to add a Lead Veterinarian to serve as the medical leader of the practice, creating a positive and collaborative work environment for the hospital team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care while also supporting the overall success of the practice operations.

We are happy to consider veterinarians with strong leadership experience or less experienced veterinarians with goals of leadership in the future. We love to mentor and help build the next generation of veterinary leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
