Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biology or Biochemistry via a CLIA-approved program (required)
• MLS certification or eligible by a nationally recognized certification agency (preferably ASCP) (required)
• Externship program completed (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performs routine analytical tests on biological specimens.
• Ensures specimen acceptability and follows protocols.
• Performs quality control and ensures patient safety.
• Maintains equipment and a safe, clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned
