Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science via a CLIA-approved program (required).
• MLS certification or eligible by a nationally recognized certification agency (ASCP preferred).
• Externship completed is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Determines acceptability of specimens by visual inspection or recognizing abnormal results.
• Recognizes factors affecting measurements and takes appropriate action per protocols.
• Performs quality control for all testing and ensures results meet established ranges before release.
• Maintains a safe and efficient work environment, including equipment checks and calibration.
