Job summary

Surgery Partners in Texas is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (MLT/MT) to work under the Laboratory Manager, performing routine and specialized tests, phlebotomy, and clerical duties. You will help develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures and ensure accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

You will collaborate with medical staff and other team members to deliver high-quality patient care for a diverse population aged 12 and older.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year program.
• BLS certification or eligible within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with routine lab tasks and specimen processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, phlebotomy, and clerical duties as needed.
• Interpret test results and tailor them to patient needs per department policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
