Surgery Partners in Texas is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (MLT/MT) to join the laboratory team under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager. You will perform routine and specialized tests, assist with phlebotomy, and help ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.

You will adhere to HIPAA, participate in continuing education, and maintain instrument calibration and quality control. Strong communication with clinicians and teammates is essential.

Formación

• Associate degree from a two-year training program.
• Certification in Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist with ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with routine laboratory tasks including instrument maintenance, specimen collection and processing.
• Proficiency with lab systems and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests.

• Interpret test results and tailor them to patient needs as per department policies.
