Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join the North Austin Location. This is a full-time, weekday position with specialized rotations across Chemistry, Hematology, and Specimen Processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of related work experience.
• AMT/ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Perform moderate and high complexity testing per SOPs.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and QC procedures.
• Train staff on laboratory procedures and safety policies.
• Help ensure proper documentation and sample tracking.
