Texas Oncology is seeking a PRN Medical Laboratory Scientist Senior to join our Midland, TX laboratory. This role supports a clinic open Monday through Friday with no weekends, call, or major holidays, and requires availability every Friday for coverage.

The MLS will perform moderate and high complexity testing, maintain QC, and assist with specimen collection. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field, at least five years of experience, and relevant

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related health care field.
• Minimum of five years of experience preferred.
• Current state license if required; AMT/ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing with accuracy.
• Maintain instrument calibration and quality control procedures.
• Assist with specimen collection and patient flow as needed.
• Train staff in laboratory procedures and safety policies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with QA standards.
• Prepare reagents and maintain inventory for efficient workflow.
