Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for our new Lakeway location. This full-time role supports a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule with no weekends, on-site at Lakeway. Experience levels from Level 1 to Senior are considered based on qualifications.

The MLT will perform specimen analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality control, while supporting the compliance program and patient flow. Join a growing team backed by dedicated physicians and leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or related field.
• State license if required.
• AMT/ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Position is entry level and requires no experience.
• Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen analysis for Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and perform QC procedures.
• Conduct specimen collection and assist with patient flow as needed.
• Prepare and process specimens for send-out testing and reference labs.
• Document results and ensure accurate charting and logging.
