Texas Oncology in Lakeway is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the new Lakeway location. This full-time role supports a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with no weekends, calls, or major holidays. Level 1, 2, or Sr is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical technology or related field.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Position is entry level and requires no experience.
• Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specimen collection and patient flow as needed.
• Perform specimen analysis of Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology tests.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment with routine QC.
• Follow QC policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Prepare and process specimens for in-house testing and send-out testing.
• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for test results.
