Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) at St. Francis Downtown. The MLS performs analytical tests on biological specimens and provides physicians with quality results while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) through a CLIA-approved program and MLS certification or eligibility (ASCP preferred). Externship completion is preferred. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) through a CLIA-approved program.
• MLS certification or eligible (ASCP preferred).
• Externship program completed (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control and ensures results meet established ranges.
• Maintains a safe and efficient work environment; conducts equipment checks and troubleshooting.
