Job summary

MedScope, a division of Medical Guardian, seeks a detail-oriented Customer Intake Specialist to process incoming orders via phone, fax, or email. You will verify information, contact customers or referrers, and enter data into our system while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accuracy.

The role supports national partnerships with evening coverage and requires the ability to work independently during extended hours. Prior experience in healthcare intake is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in healthcare related field (preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Typing at least 40 WPM.
• Must complete daily tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changes in processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor intake queues for new orders and updates.
• Enter data into the customized system and verify accuracy.
• Communicate with customers or referring sources as needed.
• Navigate healthcare portals to locate required information.
• Cancel or update customer records when needed.
• Answer calls and emails daily.
