Job summary

GForce Life Sciences is seeking a Medical Information Specialist to support a global pharmaceutical initiative. You will receive, document, and respond to medical information requests from healthcare providers, and update medical letters for products.

Role requires a Pharm D and 2+ years of MI experience, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office is expected; MI systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• Pharm D required with strong medical information background.
• 2+ years’ experience providing medical information to customers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication, plus negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, documents, and responds to medical information requests from healthcare providers.
• Handles escalated calls from the client’s call center as needed.
• Updates and/or creates medical letters for the client’s products.
• Limits corporate liability by meeting medical, ethical, and legal responsibilities.
• Serves as an educational resource to internal and external customers.
• Identifies initial information on product complaints/adverse events per FDA guidelines.
• Contributes to interdepartmental projects providing medical information.
• Provides assistance/training to other medical information personnel.
• Participates in handling call center escalations (no on-call or after-hours).
