Job summary

Carestream is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain X-ray imaging equipment at customer sites in hospitals and imaging centers across the Baltimore/DC area. You will manage customer relationships, generate service revenue, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements while traveling as needed.

The role involves home-office work with a company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent required; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• 4+ years of electronics field service experience; diagnostic imaging experience a plus.
• Able to read schematics and site drawings; strong multitasking and autonomy in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Build credibility with customers through pro-active visits and clear communication.
• Provide timely communications to customers and internal stakeholders regarding issues.
• Escalate issues promptly and follow escalation processes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting commitments and timelines.
