Job summary

US Heart & Vascular is seeking a Full-Time Medical Front Office Specialist at HeartPlace in Bedford, TX. The role includes patient registration, data entry, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical front desk and customer service experience is required.
• 6 months of EMR experience is required; ECW or Athena preferred.
• 6 months of obtaining prior authorization experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Registers new patients and collects demographic and insurance information.
• Requests co-pays, balances and coinsurance at time of arrival.
• Supports check-in/check-out processes and scheduling.
• Coordinates communications between patients and clinical staff.
• Assists with pre-certifications and authorization processes.
