Job summary

Select Medical's Pearland outpatient center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients and manage front desk duties. The role is PRN/Perdiem and may require travel between centers in the greater Pearland area.

Responsibilities include scheduling, collecting co-pays, coordinating with insurance, and handling authorizations/verifications. Reliable transportation is preferred, and 401k eligibility applies after ~1,000 hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience.
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience.

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: Pearland, TX

Type of Employment: PRN/Perdiem (FLOAT - NOT FULL TIME)

Schedule: Weekdays - Varies

Compensation: Starting at $16 hour (pending experience)

***This position requires traveling between centers in the greater Pearland area.***

***Reliable transportation and a clean driving record is preferred.***
