Job summary

Select Medical in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our outpatient physical therapy center. You will manage both the patient experience at the front desk and the business-side tasks to support care delivery.

Responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, communicating with offices and insurers, and handling co-pays and authorizations. We offer full-time hours with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule:Monday - Friday, (Varies)

Compensation:$16.00-$20.00/hour (pending experience)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous therapy experience
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• Bilingual
• Insurance Verification Experience
