Job summary

Select Medical in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, explain what to expect during their visit, and help with appointment scheduling.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: 9660 E 22nd St, Suite 180 Tucson, AZ 85748

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation:$18.00 - $20.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred:

• Insurance Verification Experience
