Overview

Position: Medical Front Office - Patient Service Specialist

Location: 1244 Fort Washington Ave, Ste M1, Fort Washington, PA 19034

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays (Hours Vary)

Compensation: $17-$18/hour - based on experience

As a patient service specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in Fort Washington, you'll manage both the patient and business sides of our center, making a significant impact on the patient care experience starting from the front desk.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit and next appointment during check-out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
