Job Description

Position: Medical Front Office - Patient Service Specialist

Location: N Broad St (Philadelphia), PA

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays (Hours Vary), 2 evenings until 6pm per week

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Philadelphia, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Your role can significantly impact each patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and upcoming appointments during check-out
  • Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
  • Maintain regular communication with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team
  • Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED
