Job summary

Select Medical in Raynham, MA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will play a key role in delivering a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle routine insurance interactions, collect co-pays, and coordinate with payers and providers to support seamless care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule:Weekdays, Monday/Thursday 9am-6:30pm, Tuesday/Wednesday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2:30pm (morning hours can be flexible, will discuss)

Compensation:$19.00 - $21.00/hour
