Job summary

Select Medical in McMurray, PA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a per diem, front-desk oriented role. You will greet, register, and guide patients through visits, schedule appointments, and handle communications with insurers and other stakeholders.

The position offers variable hours Monday–Friday and $16.00/hour compensation. Experience at a medical front desk is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required, with healthcare experience viewed favorably.

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center.
