Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Kansas City outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet and register patients, explain visit flow, and help patients prepare for their appointment, while ensuring smooth front-desk operations.

In this full-time role, you will schedule appointments by phone and in person, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and coordinate with attorneys, insurers and translation services to support our center's daily operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 8516 NW Prairie View Rd, Ste. GG-274, Kansas City, MO 64153

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
