Select Medical in Enfield, CT is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and handle front desk operations that impact the care experience.

The role is full-time, standard weekdays with some weekend hours, offering competitive hourly pay ($17.00-$20.00) and benefits including PTO, health plans, and a company-matching 401(k).

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience required.
• 1 year of Scheduling experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year of Medical Office experience; Insurance verification experience.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys, insurance, translation services, market leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

Overview

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location:113 Elm Street Enfield CT 06082

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday 7am-3pm/11am-7pm. Weekends, every other, 8am-12pm

Compensation:$17.00 - $20.00/hour, based on experience

• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience
