Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support our Colchester, CT outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit flow, and help schedule their next appointments.

This part-time role includes front-desk duties and some coordination with insurance processes. Responsibilities include taking co-pays, coordinating with payers, and assisting with authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prefer 1 year front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys' offices, insurers, translators, market leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 179 Linwood Ave, Colchester, CT

Type of Employment: Part - Time

Schedule: Wednesday and Friday 2pm-7pm

Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00/hour (based on experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Colchester, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
