Job summary

Talentify in Chicago is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Specialist to warmly greet patients, register them, explain visit steps, and assist with the next appointment at the front desk.

Responsibilities include scheduling in person and by phone, coordinating with attorneys, insurers, translation services, and leadership teams, and handling co-pays, payer approvals, and insurance verifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Insurance verification experience.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 3240 N Halst Street Chicago, IL 60657

Type of Employment: Part-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary / 1-2 evenings till 8pm per week)

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00/hour (pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Chicago, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.
