Select Medical’s outpatient physical therapy center in Chicago is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Specialist / Rehab Aide to welcome patients and manage front desk operations. You will greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit and next appointment.

The role involves scheduling, handling co-pays, processing insurance verifications, and coordinating with attorneys, insurers, translators, and the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.

Type of Employment:Part-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary / 2-3 evenings per week)

Compensation:$17.50 - $19.00/hour (pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Chicago, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience


• Healthcare experience
