Job summary

Select Medical in Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to warmly greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit process at the front desk.

In this full-time role, you will schedule appointments, handle co-pays and insurance verifications, and coordinate with attorneys, insurers, and translation services to ensure a smooth patient experience. The position offers weekday scheduling and benefits including medical, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous Therapy Experience preferred.
• 1 Year of OP Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Type of Employment: Full time

Schedule:Weekdays (7am to 4pm OR 10am to 7pm)

Compensation: $18-$19/hour - (Pending experience)
