Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Charleston, SC for a PRN/Perdiem role. Expect traveling between centers in the greater Charleston area, with weekday shifts 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm.

You will greet, register, schedule, collect co-pays, and coordinate with insurance providers to support patient care at the front desk. We offer benefits including 401k eligibility after 1,000 hours and a collaborative environment in outpatient physical therapy centers.

• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Overview

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: Charleston, SC

Type of Employment: PRN/Perdiem (NOT FULL TIME)

Schedule: Weekdays - 7am to 4pm OR 9am to 6pm

Compensation: $22/hour (Pending experience)

***This is a PRN (As Needed) position and requires traveling between centers in the greater Charleston area.***

***Reliable transportation and a clean driving record is preferred.***

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center.
