Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Beavercreek outpatient center. You will greet and register patients, explain what to expect during visits, and help coordinate next appointments at checkout.

The role involves scheduling in person and by phone, clear communication with insurers and providers, and handling co-pays along with insurance authorizations and verifications. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• Insurance Verification Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, (8-6 or 8-7)

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00/hour (based on experience)
