Job summary

Valley Perinatal Services is seeking a Medical Front Office professional in Chandler to manage patient registration, check-in/out, and copay collection in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office 365 are essential. Experience with Athena EMR is a plus, and a High School Diploma or GED is required. All clinics location imply on-site work with a Clinical Support focus.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED and minimum 3 years of front desk/clerical experience.
• Experience with EMR systems; Athena knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology; accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and basic math for copay collection.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out patients.
• Ensure patient/insurance demographics are accurate; verify signed forms.
• Confirm insurance cards on file and collect copays and balances.
• Review Advance Beneficiary Notifications forms as applicable.
• Handle incoming clinic calls and other duties as assigned.
