Pulmonary and Critical Care Consultants in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to assist patients with registration and check-in/out, respond to calls, and coordinate appointments. This role requires medical office experience and strong communication.

You will greet patients, scan insurance and IDs, collect forms, manage records requests, and support referral and sleep lab charge entry. A high school diploma and prior medical-office experience are required; background check may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience at a medical practice is required.
• Able to communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Well organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Regular and consistent use of keyboard and mouse is necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, interact with patients, doctors and patients’ family members, schedule appointments.
• Scan insurance cards and pertinent ID cards.
• Obtain proper forms (ie: advanced directives and financial responsibility forms).
• Process medical records requests.
• Triage incoming faxes.
• Scan outside medical records into patient charts.
• Back up for incoming referral and consult requests.
• Maintain office and sleep lab charges into electronic system.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
