Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a front desk receptionist to warmly greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient records and payments. The role requires flexible hours and strong customer service skills.

• Welcomes patients and visitors, greeting them in person or on the phone.
• Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction.
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule.
• Reassures patients, answers questions, maintains the reception area.
• Files and retrieves patient records to ensure information availability.
• Maintains patient accounts with updated personal and financial data.
• Records and collects patient charges and handles third-party claims.
• Responds to emergencies and assists distressed patients.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Follows policies and reports changes to improve operations.
• Supports the team to achieve related results.
