Job summary

ConvenientMD is hiring a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact in our clinics across New England. You will register patients, collect payments, and help with scheduling referrals while supporting a smooth patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and compassion for patients, with opportunities to work across multiple ConvenientMD locations and use EMR software to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proactive and confident communicator; able to handle patients professionally.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and register them with accurate information.
• Handle insurance and billing inquiries and collect payments as per clinic policies.
• Coordinate patient flow, scheduling referrals, and registrations across multiple systems.
• Answer phones professionally and maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area.
• Become familiar with CMD services and the software systems used for scheduling and EMRs.
