Qualifications

• 16 years old minimum.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in person or by phone with complete/accurate info for identification and reimbursement.
• Complete pre-visit planning to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Assign the appropriate guarantor for each patient.
• Greet and provide courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure patients receive disclosures and consent to treat documentation.
• Verify insurance eligibility using real-time eligibility; act on insurer responses to ensure correct billing info.
• Collect financial obligations or refer to Patient Financial Services for counseling.
• Use tools to complete accounts in assigned work queues.
• Coordinate requests for release of medical information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
