Responsibilities

• Registers patients in person or by phone, verifying information for patient identity and billing.
• Completes pre-visit planning to ensure smooth patient experience.
• Assigns Guarantor for each patient.
• Greets and provides courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Ensures patients receive disclosures, privacy information, and consent to treat forms.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and accurate billing details in real time.
• Collects patient financial information and refers to Patient Financial Services as needed.
• Uses tools and processes to complete accounts in work queues.
• Coordinates requests for release of medical information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
