The position is full-time, Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5pm and Friday 7:45am-2pm, with potential travel to South Phoenix or Laveen locations based on staffing needs. Strong customer service and multi-tasking in a medical office are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to multi-task between heavy phone volume, multiple computer systems and frequent interruptions.
• Able to work on a computer sitting for 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Receives all incoming calls and documents messages; routes to clinical staff.
• Confirm patient demographics and insurance information; collect copays and balances.
• Schedule and reschedule office appointments; handle referrals as directed.
• Prints superbills and tracks patient visits and no-shows.
• May assist with rooming patients when needed.
• Assist with online presence by sending review requests.
• Perform daily tasks with minimal supervision and maintain outstanding customer service.
• Use multiple computer programs and manage competing demands.
