Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk team member to greet patients, verify insurance, and manage referrals in a busy ophthalmology clinic. You will check patients in and out, collect insurance cards, and ensure accurate data entry in the EMR system.

The role requires basic office software skills, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred experience at a medical front desk. Benefits include health coverage and bonuses, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 40 hours, occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and Microsoft Office Suite is needed.
• Nextgen knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out and manage front desk duties.
• Copy patient insurance cards and verify referrals.
• Enter and verify insurance information in the EMR system and schedule patients.
• Assist with other office tasks as needed and support clinic operations.
